PARI offers a wide range of products for the treatment of diseases, for prophylactic care and for keeping the upper and lower airways healthy.
All PARI products have been specifically developed for the different requirements of our patients and are perfectly matched with each other.
Which inhalation system is chosen depends on a number of factors: the nature and severity of the illness, the properties of the inhalation system, the patient's age and state of health and the medication used.
Jet nebulisers differ from conventional ultrasound nebulisers in that all drugs approved for inhalation treatment can be administered.
In the case of patients who are not capable of inhaling in a controlled and coordinated manner, propellant-driven metered-dose inhalers (sprays) should only be used in conjunction with a holding chamber (spacer, e.g. VORTEX®).
If a patient can only produce a low inhalatory flow, metered-dose inhalers without a holding chamber and dry powder inhalers are unsuitable. The active ingredients may for example only reach the throat or the pharynx or may just be swallowed. In such cases nebuliser systems offer a good alternative.
The following tables, divided into diseases of the upper and lower airways, provide an overview and will help you to decide which device best suit your needs.
