For inhalation treatment following laryngectomy/tracheotomy. Inhalation treatment through a tracheostoma requires special adaptations.
Whereas the inhaled air is normally cleaned, humidified and warmed as it passes through the nose, these natural functions of the nose cannot be used when a patient is breathing through a tracheostoma. Consequently, the quality of life of patients is constantly eroded by breathing cold, dry air that has not been cleaned. The moist and warm therapy provided by the PARI SOLE® N (Set) helps to alleviate these complaints. In conjunction with the PARI TRACHEO SET, the patient can inhale directly through the tracheostoma. An adapter and the specially developed soft, form-fitting throat mask are included in the equipment for the PARI SOLE® N (Set) TRACHEO.
