Hypertonic saline solution for inhalation is s widely used and accepted therapy for increasing secretion mobilisation in the lower respiratory tract. The osmotic effects of hypertonic saline solution can help to mobilise secretion and provide patients suffering from cystic fibrosis with rapid relief.
The need for mobility and flexibility in our daily lives is great. For cystic fibrosis patients, absolute hygiene in application is also imperative. In order to satisfy these various demands, PARI Pharma GmbH has developed the first ready-to-use, sterile, hypertonic saline solution with a concentration of 6% and 4ml fill volume. Accordingly, a simple, hygienic administration form is now available to the patient, even when travelling.
